Description of the coat of arms.
There has been allot of discussion on the Family
Coat of
Arms. There is a very early version from when the Family lived in Alses
Lorrainne on the French and German border. The motto that you see is
posted
with early French Coat of Arms. This Coat can be found in the Duke of
Lorrainne's
window gallery. There is no motto listed with the English Coat of
Arms. There is some question as to the source of this coat. The
Coat
of arms, with these colors, is as it appears in some English
registries.
This coat was also found etched in glass of a lantern on an English
Tall
Ship in New England with the name Ensell on it.
